Life is good!: I am in my late 20s and was recently diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer. I wanted to start a blog to inform others about the good, bad and the ugly side of having Breast Cancer. I wish I would have been exposed to "real" pictures rather than drawings on a flyer prior to having surgery. I feel like God has allowed this because He knows I will make something positive out of this bad situation as I do every bad experience in life. I hope this blog inspires others. I pray it helps others going through Breast Cancer and that it informs friends and family members of what their loved one may be experiencing if they are supporting someone fighting this battle too. I have a wonderful husband who always makes me laugh and together we find the humor in the life in all situations. I have two children. My son was 12 months old and my daughter was 2 when I was diagnosed Oct 2009. My mom has been a great support and has traveled cross country and stayed months to help with the kids. I have great friends, family and co-workers that have also been part of my cheering section. Together their support and encouragement has made this journey much easier than if I were on this path alone.
